今日から4月ですねo
4月1日といったらエイプリルフール!!
何で今日は嘘ついても許される日なんだろう??


…ということで、今日はエイプリルフールについて語ってみよう(←暇だなぁ、私o


まずエイプリルフールとは何ぞや、とo(Wikipediaより)
エイプリルフール(April Fool's Day)とは、毎年4月1日の午前中には人をからかうような、害のない嘘をついてもよい、という風習のことであるo(へぇ～、午前しかダメなんだ、本当はo
ただし、日本では午前のみという風習は定着していないo
4月1日には、世界中で新聞が嘘の内容の記事を掲載したり、TVニュースでジョークニュースを報道したりといった事が広く行われているo
インターネットが普及してからは、実用性のない冗談RFCが公開されたり、ウェブサイトが大がかりなジョークページを公開したりといったことも行われるo
エイプリルフールは、日本語では四月馬鹿または万愚説（ばんぐせつ）、フランス語では｢ポワソン･ダヴリル（Poisson d'avril, 四月の魚）｣と呼ばれるo(何でフランスでは四月の魚なんだろう??
なお、日本では4月1日は、「日ごろの不義理を詫びる日」だったo
ちなみにイスラム教においてはこの習慣は強く禁止されているo


起源は、、、
その昔、ヨーロッパでは3月25日を新年とし、4月1日まで春の祭りを開催していたが1564年にフランスのシャルル9世が1月1日を新年とする暦を採用したo
これに反発した人々が、4月1日を「嘘の新年」とし、馬鹿騒ぎをはじめたo
しかし、シャルル9世はこの事態に対して非常に憤慨し、町で「嘘の新年」を祝っていた人々を逮捕し、片っ端から処刑してしまうo
処刑された人々の中には、まだ13歳だった少女までもが含まれていたo(可哀想～o
フランスの人々は、この事件に非常にショックを受け、フランス王への抗議と、この事件を忘れない為に、その後も毎年4月1日になると盛大に「嘘の新年」を祝うようになっていったo
これがエイプリルフールの始まりであるo(なるほどねo
そして13歳という若さで処刑された少女への哀悼の意を表して、1564年から13年ごとに「嘘の嘘の新年」を祝い、その日を一日中全く嘘をついてはいけない日とするという風習も生まれたo
その後、エイプリルフールは世界中に広まり、ポピュラーとなったが、「嘘の嘘の新年」は次第に人々の記憶から消えていったo


エイプリルフールってそういう日なんだねo知らないことばっかり、、、
確かに、｢嘘の嘘の新年｣なんて知らなかったしo
計算すると｢嘘の嘘の新年｣って去年だったみたいだよo
次は2019年だねo
しかも背景にはちょっと悲しい歴史があったりしてo
っていうか、その事件を忘れないために毎年｢嘘の新年｣を祝ってきたのに、今じゃもうみんな忘れちゃってるんだねo
悲しいねo
意味無いねo
少なくともこの記事を読んだ人は、今年から毎年エイプリルフールにはこの話を思い出して欲しいなぁと、思います!!
